6km Route Description: This is the perfect beginners route. Starting at the picturesque Aloe Wildlife Estate, the course heads down a gentle jeep track, before moving onto flowing single track through the thornveld. At the half-way point, the route turns, climbing back out the valley, winding between the aloes and acacias. The climb is gentle but steady, back to the finish.
13km Route Description: The long course follows the 6km route, peeling off just before the finish onto a second loop on different trails. This section drops into the valley again, taking in more scenic thornveld and aloes. It returns up a moderate climb, past horse paddocks and into the finish.
20km Route Description: The 20km route completes all of the 13km route before looping back into the bushveld for the final 7 kilometers. The final few kilometers are along the same track
Directions: From N3 Take Lynnfield Park / Lion Park offramp. Travel towards the Lion Park for 1.5km and Aloe Wildlife Estate is on the left, at bluegum trees opposite Rainbow Chicken Farm. Well signposted “Aloe Wildlife Estate MTB”.
